Work Experience MenuAs President of CPI, Ron Binz has hosted several conferences in Washington, DC on important topics in telecommunications policy. Below is an example of a CPI conference on the status of local exchange competition.
For six years, Binz has led policy discussions at Symposia for State Regulators and State Legislators conducted by the Competition Policy Institute. These symposia bring together leaders among state regulators and among legislative committees with oversight of public utility regulation.
These off-the-record discussions permit these policy makers a rare opportunity to explore new ideas and current trends in public utility regulation with their colleagues and experts in the field. Below are examples of agendas that these symposia addressed.
